Attention to Detail was founded by Jeff Vanderbelt in 2009 with a commitment to honest service, quality workmanship and genuine care for every customer who walked through the door.
Over the years, Jeff had the pleasure of watching his son, Matt, work alongside him and become part of the shop’s story.
Now, as Jeff prepares to retire, the business is entering an exciting new chapter. His nephew, Justin Vandebelt, is proudly taking over the shop and continuing the family tradition Jeff worked so hard to build.
While ownership is changing hands, the values behind Attention to Detail Automotive remain the same: trustworthy advice, dependable service and careful attention to every vehicle. Justin looks forward to honouring Jeff’s legacy while building lasting relationships with customers for many years to come.
As Justin takes over Attention to Detail Automotive, he brings nearly 20 years of experience as a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician. His career includes 16 years working with Chrysler vehicles and two years with GM, giving him extensive knowledge of these brands while remaining well-versed in servicing all makes and models.
Justin believes that great automotive service requires continuous learning. As vehicles evolve and electric technology becomes increasingly common, he remains committed to ongoing training so he can provide customers with knowledgeable, dependable service now and into the future.

Red Seal Mechanic
As a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician, Justin has achieved a nationally recognized standard of knowledge, training and hands-on experience in the automotive trade. For customers, this means their vehicles are being serviced by a highly qualified professional committed to accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship and safe, reliable repairs.
Hybrid Certification
Justin’s hybrid-vehicle certification provides him with specialized training in the unique systems and technology found in hybrid vehicles. For customers, this means their vehicle is being serviced by a technician who understands the additional safety requirements, electrical components and diagnostic procedures involved in hybrid-vehicle maintenance and repair.
Ozone Depletion Prevention
Justin holds an Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certificate, demonstrating that he is trained to safely handle, recover and manage automotive refrigerants. For customers, this means your vehicle’s air-conditioning system is serviced responsibly by a qualified technician who understands how to prevent harmful refrigerants from being released into the environment.
